Rationale Behind Support and Service Subscription:
Sophos has streamlined its support system for network solutions to offer inclusive phone assistance, firmware enhancements, proactive RMA, and a limited lifetime warranty. While the central management of Access Points will remain free, support and services will increasingly be at the heart of Sophos’s direction. The previous licensing system for centralized management has been discontinued by Sophos.
Commencement of Support License:
Similar to Sophos’s other network products, support initiates right after the completion of the order. If users are keeping some Access Points in reserve, it’s recommended by Sophos to trigger support only when these units are deployed.
