Orders, Payments and Shipping
The page below has been updated to describe our operating procedures during the current level of lockdown. Please bear with us as we adapt to trade under new regulations and conditions when they are released. Our official delivery policy is listed below which governs how the service operates if you whish to use it. If you need any clarification please feel free to contact us.
How do I order from tech.co.za?
Ordering online is easy once you get the hang of it. 1) Find the product, 2) Add it to cart, and 3) Checkout ! Can’t figure it out? Contact us to help you with a manual order.
Please note that orders are only confirmed once funds clear in our accounts. During the lockdown period, our suppliers and couriers are operating with limited resources and delays may occur. Under normal circumstances, orders confirmed before 11:00 are ready for shipping or collection on the same day after 14:00. We will contact you to let you know about any delays during this uncertain period. Collections can be arranged but only by appointment.
What payment methods do you accept?
We’ve partnered with multiple 3rd party payment gateways to allow us to securely accept as many payment methods as possible. On checkout select the payment gateway you prefer to see all the payment option available though them. When asked to enter a payment reference, please only use your order number as supplied.
For your safety and ours, we do NOT accept any payments on collection or delivery.
How do I get my order?
Your order can either be shipped or collected in accordance with our Delivery Policy detailed below.
TECH.CO.ZA DELIVERY POLICY
Clause 1 – Introduction
1.1 This Delivery Policy (“Delivery Policy”) is only valid for products purchased from tech.co.za.
1.2 This Delivery Policy has been developed to ensure the accurate and secure delivery of all purchases according to the customer’s delivery needs.
1.3 This Delivery Policy forms part of the agreement between tech.co.za and its customers. This Delivery Policy should be read together with the website Terms and Conditions (if applicable).
Clause 2 – Delivery Procedure
2.1 Once an order has been received and confirmed, no changes to the specified address and/or delivery option will be accepted, unless specifically acknowledged as being accepted by us.
2.2 After payment has been made, the customer will receive a tracking code, which they can use to track the delivery.
2.3 Orders will be delivered between 08h00 to 17h00 on weekdays excluding public holidays.
2.4 It is the sole responsibility of the the customer to ensure that someone is available to receive the order once it has reached the delivery address.
2.5 If no one is present at the address when the delivery is attempted, the products will be retained and one more attempt at delivery made, and thereafter a new arrangement, at an additional cost, may be made to deliver the order.
2.6 The person receiving the order is required to sign a delivery note or have the requisite photograph / scan taken as proof that the order has been delivered.
2.7 Before signing the delivery note, the person receiving is required to check the contents of the order received against the delivery note to ensure that the products are not damaged or missing any products.
2.8 Once the person has signed and agreed that the order is correct, undamaged and in good condition, the customer will not have a claim for any incomplete/missing orders.
Clause 3 – Delivery Areas
3.1 We deliver within South Africa.
3.2 Customers are required to provide their physical address for delivery and contact details before completing their purchase. Products will be delivered to the physical address specified by the customer.
Clause 4 – Delivery Fees
4.1 Delivery fees are calculated on checkout, according to the size of the basket and the location of the delivery address.
4.2 Orders worth more than R900.00 (nine hundred Rand) qualify for free shipping.
Clause 5 – Delivery Methods
5.1 Orders will be delivered using a courier(s) of our choice.
Clause 6 – Delivery Time Frame
6.1 Without considering or being affected by external factors, local orders within South Africa will be delivered to the customer on the basis of the below:
6.1.1 Email delivery of digital goods will be instant after the order has been received and confirmed; and
6.1.2 Physical goods are courier dependent and will be delivered as soon as is reasonably possible after the order has been received and confirmed. We will endeavour to have same delivered within 10 (ten) days of the order being made, however, we cannot guarantee this.
Clause 7 – Collection
7.1 In certain instances we permit collection of orders from customers, and in such instances no delivery fee will apply, however the Goods may only be collected once the customer has been advised that same are ready for collection.
7.2 Should a customer wish to do this, they are required to specify this during the checkout process.
7.3 Physical Goods shall be made available for collection by the User at 88 Sovereign Drive Route 21 Corporate Park, Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa, 0178 for a period of 7 (seven) days after the order was placed on the Website and the User has recieved confirmation that the order is ready for collection.
Clause 8 – Disclaimer
8.1 We shall take all reasonable efforts to accurately reflect the goods, purchase price and delivery charges of goods on the website. However, should there be any errors of whatsoever nature on the website (which are not due to our fault), we shall not be liable to make good on a transaction based on any error, apart from refunding any monies paid by the customer to the us.
8.2 We will not be liable if delivery does not occur within the time frame mentioned in this Delivery Policy and cannot be liable for any loss occasioned by the delay in delivery.
